"If you have no People , we are your People. If you do not have a Tribe, we are your Tribe. If you do not have a Nation we are your Nation. The Kuksu way of life is about connecting with all the Indigenous Peoples and cultures of the world together to form a better life. Too many of our brothers and sisters have lost their way and do not know their heritage or birthright. WE ARE HERE TO BRING THE PEOPLE TOGETHER AND TO WORK TOWARDS UNIFYING ALL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE."

The birth of Kuksu Ma-hiz council/collective was inspired by the ancestral mandate to revive the matrilineal council, embrace inclusive leadership, and uphold the sacred decision-making processes cherished by the indigenous tribes of Turtle Island. As a result, Kuksu Ma-hiz stands as a resolute summons to honor and support our revered Clan Mothers Councils, while also serving as an intertribal organization that transcends geographical boundaries, committed to meeting the needs of all indigenous communities, recognized and non-recognized tribes.
